On September 21, 2023, it was reported Suzanne’s husband Akhil Mishra had passed away after a tragic accident.
The actor was reportedly working in the kitchen when he accidentally slipped from a stool.
Reportedly, Akhil was found injured and was rushed to the hospital.
However, he was declared dead after a series of efforts by the doctors.
A close associate of Mishra has confirmed he has been unwell for quite some time now.
It is said that the actor has been suffering from serious blood pressure-related issues, which could be the reason behind the actor’s untimely death.
According to sources, his wife was away for a shoot when the incident happened, but immediately rushed back to the scene when was made aware.
Sources have confirmed his last rites will take place today (September 21, 2023) at Indralok, near Golden Nest.
Akhil was born in 1965 and worked in films such as Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Gandhi, My Father.
He was also known for his TV work, which included the show Pradhanmantri.

Speaking to the Indian Express at the time she said: “All the characters that I played were foreigners who needed an accent.
“Fluency suddenly became an issue with my show Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, as I needed to be perfect, and my husband gave all his time and put his career on hold to help me on a daily basis to speak shudh Hindi.”
