Patriots offensive line sees positive news at practice ahead of Jets game

FOXBORO — The Patriots’ full roster was present for practice Friday.
That included rookie offensive lineman Sidy Sow, who was wearing a red non-contact jersey as he remains in concussion protocol, and new quarterback Will Grier, who was sporting No. 19.
Sow — the Patriots’ starting right guard in Week 1 — didn’t practice last week or play Week 2 against the Dolphins. He was limited in Wednesday’s practice and did not participate in Thursday’s session. It’s unlikely he would be available this Sunday against the Jets. Left tackle Trent Brown has also been limited with a concussion this week.
Patriots cornerback Jack Jones, who’s on injured reserve with a hamstring injury, walked by reporters before practice and appeared to be moving just fine. He’s eligible to return from injured reserve as soon as Week 5.
The Patriots placed cornerback Marcus Jones on injured reserve with a torn labrum on Friday morning.
