A man is dead and another is in police custody after a stabbing in southwest London on Friday.

A man is dead and another is in police custody after a stabbing in southwest London on Friday. 

Emergency crews were called to Forbes Street, west of Wharncliffe Road South, at around 9:50 a.m. ET.

They found a man with life-threatening injuries, officials said. 

The victim was immediately sent to the hospital but was later pronounced dead. A suspect is currently in custody but has not yet been charged.

London police say the suspect and the victim may have known each other; however, the incident is still under investigation.
