[ad_1]

Rash driving is one of the most common reasons for accidents in India. Here is an incident from Jammu where a Mahindra Scorpio-N fell 20 feet deep from the edge of a hill and kept the occupants safe. There were two people in the car when the incident happened and both of them survived the mishap.

The incident happened in broad daylight but the owner of the car was not present in the vehicle. His younger brother was driving with a friend of his when the accident happened. According to the details, the Mahindra Scorpio-N’s rear wheel spun and the vehicle became out of control while trying to safe a scooter rider.

The car fell from the hill and became upside down. The passengers in the vehicle were safe but the car was severely damaged. The A-pillars of the Scorpio-N retained their shape under the load but the front-end was severely damaged. The car was recovered with a backhoe.

While trying to save the scooter rider, the Scorpio-N crashed into a parked scooter and caused heavy damages to it as well. Since the Mahindra Scorpio-N is essentially a Rear Wheel Driven (RWD) vehicle, it can easily lose control over lose gravel and spin off just like this one.

There are videos of the same Scorpio-N doing donuts on the public roads. Since there are no video evidence or dashboard camera footage of the accident, we cannot comment on the authenticity of the series of events as mentioned by the YouTuber. However, it does seem like an extreme accident where the safe structure of the Scorpio-N saved the passengers.
