2023 Hyundai Creta base variant modified into X-Line Knight Edition [Video]

The Hyundai Creta is, hands down, the most popular compact SUV in India. No matter how crowded the mid-size SUV segment gets, this car has not been dethroned even once during its course. Regardless of the variant, this car is always on a waiting list. Many people are now ordering the base variant of this vehicle and getting them modified according to their preferences. Most recently, another video of a fully modified base-to-top-spec trim Hyundai Creta has been shared online.

The video of the Creta base E variant to a unique X-Line Knight Edition hybrid has been shared on YouTube. It comes courtesy of Vig Auto Accessories on their channel. The shop, as we have featured multiple times, is known for its unique touches that it gives to the base variants of a ton of popular cars in India. In this recently uploaded video, the owner of the shop shared the list of modifications done to this vehicle.

Modifications done to this base E variant Creta

The presenter starts the video by mentioning that this vehicle belongs to one of his old customers. He added that the same customer bought another Creta almost two years ago. In this particular car, they have added a brand new genuine Knight Edition front grille and a genuine Knight Edition front skid plate finished in high gloss black. Next up, he adds that they have also included the top-spec variant’s trio of LED headlights, LED DRLs, and LED fog lamps as well.

After the front end of the Creta, he moves to the side profile of the vehicle. He mentions that they could have called it only the Knight Edition; however, it is also called the X-Line Edition as well. The reason for this is that they have added 18-inch Kia Seltos X-Line alloy wheels on this particular car. He added that they have also installed Knight Edition side skirts and side panels finished in gloss black as well. Next up, he shows the rear section of the car and mentions that they have also added the LED taillights and a high gloss black rear skid plate as well.

Following the exterior of this particular Hyundai Creta E variant, he then shows the interior of the car. The presenter highlights that they have added all-new custom leather seat covers on the car’s front and rear seats. It was also stated that a dynamic ambient lighting system has also been added. Next up, he shows the muscular D-Cut steering wheel, a new touchscreen infotainment system with an HD camera, and Sony ES series speakers. He also mentions that they have added small trims from the top-spec model on the door cards.

Currently, the Hyundai Creta base E variant starts at around Rs. 10.87 lakh (ex-showroom). The base variant can be had in 6 colors, including Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Denim Blue, Abyss Black, Atlas White, and Atlas White With Abyss Black. It comes equipped with a 1.5-liter petrol engine that produces a maximum of 13.18 bhp@6300 rpm of power and 143.8 Nm@4500 rpm of torque. In terms of its alternatives, interested buyers can also go for the Kia Seltos HTE, which is priced at Rs. 10.90 lakh, Hyundai Venue SX, which is priced at Rs. 10.93 lakh, and Maruti Brezza Zxi, which is priced at Rs. 11.04 lakh.
