2023 Tata Harrier Facelift
First off, let’s start with the younger sibling of the two – Harrier facelift. Tata Motors, this time around, has given the Harrier a much sportier and more imposing design on the front. The overall theme for the Harrier this time around is more fun, and it will be targeting a much younger and active audience. The front features two massive grilles on top and bottom with horizontal individual elements that add to the futuristic appearance of the vehicle.
The top LED DRLs of the Harrier this time around have been connected to add to the high-end futuristic feel. The front bumper has also been fully changed and now gets vertically stacked headlights with a triangular design, which is different from the one in the new Safari facelift. The side remains the same but gets a brand new set of alloy wheels. Moving on to the rear, it gets a fully redesigned rear bumper and new connected LED taillights with Z-shaped elements.
The 2023 Harrier facelift will be offered in four variants, namely Smart, Pure, Adventure, and Fearless, just like the new Nexon facelift. In terms of features, the Harrier will now get a ton of segment-first features, including ADAS with adaptive cruise control, 7 airbags, Smart E-shifter, and paddle shifters. Additionally, it will also come with a dual-zone automatic temperature control system along with a brand new dashboard layout.
2023 Tata Safari Facelift
The other SUV revealed by Tata Motors is the flagship Safari facelift. This year, the elder sibling of the Tata Harrier has been given a unique front fascia that sets it apart from the Harrier. For the 2023 facelift, Tata Motors has given the Safari a much bolder and futuristic appearance. Like the Harrier, it also gets connected LED DRLs up top and vertically stacked headlights on the newly designed front bumper.
The main visual difference between the Harrier facelift and the Safari facelift is the grille. This time around, the top front grille of the Safari has been provided with horizontal individual elements finished in the body color. The vertically stacked LED headlights cavity is also rectangular, as opposed to triangular in the Harrier. Lastly, the lower front bumper of the Safari gets a massive silver skid plate.
Like the Harrier, the interior layout of the Safari has also been fully redesigned and now features a much more modern, feature-loaded dashboard. The SUV also gets a ton of segment-first features, including a 31.24 cm Harman infotainment system, and Harman Advanced AudioworX with 13 JBL modes. Along with it, it also gets the same new features as the Harrier. Additionally, it also gets features such as 19-inch alloy wheels, Bi-LED projector headlights, and a gesture-controlled power tailgate. The 2023 Tata Safari facelift will come in four variants, namely, Smart, Pure, Adventure, and Accomplished.
Commenting on the announcement of the new Harrier and Safari facelifts, Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, stated, “We are elated to commence the bookings of the New Harrier and Safari starting today.
