2023 Tata Safari facelift: Video brochure released

Soon after unveiling the all-new 2023 Harrier facelift, Tata Motors has also unveiled the new Safari facelift as well. With the new facelift, Tata has given a brand-new exterior and interior design to its flagship SUV Safari. The model has been given a ton of segment-first features in order to take on its closest rivals, the Mahindra Scorpio-N and XUV700. Recently, the company has also released the new Safari facelift’s video brochure as well.
Tata Safari facelift exterior
The all-new video brochure of the Tata Safari facelift has been shared on YouTube by Tata Motors officially on their official channel. It starts off with an older gentleman coming in front of the SUV and unlocking it with the new IRA 2.0 connected car app of Tata Motors. After this, the fully connected LED DRL of the SUV is shown, which is a brand new addition.

Next up, the newly designed rear-connected LED taillights are shown in the video. The new Safari now also gets the dynamic swipe indicator and a new shape for the LED taillights. Moving on, the all-new vertically stacked Bi-LED headlights and LED fog lights of the Safari are highlighted in the video. The video then shows the all-new front fascia and overall exterior design of the car. It can be noted that the front has now been made a lot more bold and sophisticated. This time around, it now also looks different from the Harrier as well.
Tata Safari facelift interior
Soon after the exterior, the video then shows the interior of the SUV. The list of features provided with the brand new Tata Safari facelift includes a 6-way powered driver’s seat and memory and welcome features, an all-new four-spoke steering wheel design with an illuminated Tata logo, a 26.03 cm digital instrument gauge cluster, start/stop button, bejeweled rotary dial for drive mode and terrain mode selection.
Additionally, the car will also come equipped with e-shifter, 1st and second ventilated seats, full leatherette upholstery, a 31.24 cm touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Carplay connectivity, Harman AudioworX music interface with 10 JBL speakers, paddle shifters, a 360-degree camera, powered tailgate with gesture control.
Apart from these, the new Safari facelift will come equipped with a powered co-driver seat, winged headrest, 19-inch alloy Spider diamond-cut alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control system, a panoramic sunroof with mood lighting. It will also get a voice assistant built-in with the Harman infotainment system, and it will also get Amazon Alexa as well. The video also shows the second top Adventure variant along with its lower trims – Pure and Smart.
Engine and transmission
Apart from these, the Tata Safari facelift will come equipped with new ADAS features. As for the powertrain of the Safari facelift, it will come powered by the same BS6 Phase 2-compliant 2.0-litre diesel engine. This engine produces a maximum of 168bhp and 350 Nm of torque. Transmission duties on this SUV are performed by a six-speed manual gearbox and a six-speed torque converter that sends the power to the front wheels.
