The Boys – 90% of Prime Video is not a conventional series. Throughout the series, we see how a group of vigilantes, known as The Boysthey embark on a mission to take down these corrupt superheroes and the Vought corporation that backs them.

This twisted and sinister superhero series has surprised critics and audiences alike with its unique and dark take on the superhero genre. Focusing on a group of vigilantes trying to take down a powerful corporation and its corrupt superheroes, the show has challenged traditional expectations and redefined what it means to be a hero.
Perhaps it is not surprising that, with such success, spin-off series are being produced to expand this world. Gen V has already been launched – 83%, which follows a new group of young superheroes, and The Boys: Diabolical – 95%, an animated series that delves into the multiple facets of the universe of The Boys. But Prime Video’s world of dark superheroes is far from finished expanding. Pavun Shettyproducer of The Boys and its derivatives, has hinted at future projects in a recent interview with Comic Book:
We’re lucky that fans love the series so much and that there’s a real hype for Gen V, and that there are a lot of characters to build around. There are a lot of different areas of books across time periods that we could really take advantage of.

But ambition does not mean reduction. Shetty insists that any expansion must have a purpose and not simply be a ploy to cash in on the popularity of the original series:
We would love to have multiple shows, but I think audiences are really smart and comfortable, and I think they understand when there’s a reason a show comes out for the right reasons and there’s a real story to tell and it feels like the same world, but different. I think they can sniff out when it’s just a show for the sake of being a show, so we’re really thinking about what the next show could be and how it can be thoughtful and fit into the universe, and I feel like it’s a puzzle piece that It fits in with everything else, but it’s not just a show for show.
While we wait for more details about these possible spin-offs, Shetty has not been idle. The producer is behind the television adaptation of #Goosebumps”, the iconic book series by R.L. Stine. This new project immerses viewers in a world of mystery and suspense, following a group of high school students as they investigate a dark family secret related to the tragic death of a teenager three decades ago. With actors like Justin Long and Rachael Harris leading the cast, along with fresh faces like Zack Morris and Isa Briones, there are many reasons to be excited about this new series.
And although the fourth season of The Boys may have concluded filming, industrial problems, including strikes by writers and actors, have put post-production on hold. Fortunately, fans can quench their thirst for more content with Shetty’s creations, such as the aforementioned series Goosebumpswhich will premiere on Disney+ and Hulu on October 13.
With Gene V releasing new episodes on Prime Video every Friday, and Goosebumps About to debut, Shetty’s world continues to grow. What is certain is that, with his talent and dedication to the art of narrative, any new installment in the universe of The Boys or any other project you are involved in, will be eagerly awaited.
