The entire country is buzzing with excitement for the launch of the all-new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. The official launch date of November 1st is coming closer, and to enhance the anticipation, the Chennai-based bikemaker recently released a few videos of the new Himalayan 450. One of the videos fully reveals the design of the bike. Meanwhile, the other video shows the commencement of this adventure motorcycle. The production video also shows the final and the most rigorous test of the upcoming bike in which three Himalayan 450s travel from Chennai to Ladakh.

Royal Enfield has shared the exciting video of the final test of the Himalayan 450 on their official Instagram page. The final test video of the adventure motorcycle shows the design of the bike without any camouflage.

It also briefly shows the manufacturing process of the Himalayan 450, and the main highlight was the engraving of the 0001 production-numbered Himalayan 450. It also shows the final assembly process of the first few bikes of the model. The video highlights that the production of the new Himalayan 450 has commenced.

Soon after these adrenaline-filled glimpses of the Himalayan, the CEO of Royal Enfield takes over the video. B. Govindarajan, the CEO of the Chennai-based bikemaker, in the video, announces that before the launch, the company will be taking the all-new Himalayan 450 adventure through its paces on a final rigorous test. He mentioned that for this test, the new bikes will be heading from their factory in Oragadam, Chennai, all the way to Umling La mountain pass in the district of Ladakh.

This 5,500 km test is being done on 3 brand-new Himalayan 450 adventure motorcycles and will be ridden by 24 riders across the country. For those unaware, the Umling La pass ascends to a height of 5882.64 meters, which translates to 19,300 feet. This elevation makes it one of the world’s highest motorable roads. The video caption mentioned, “From plains to the mountains, through cities, highways, rain, shine, day, night, and everything in between.”

Royal Enfield recently also released a small still video of the new adventure motorcycle. This video shows all the design details of this soon-to-be-launched motorcycle. The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 this time around will get a fully reworked design and now also boasts new technological features. The updated bike now comes equipped with an all-new steel trellis frame. This new frame brings a lot of changes to the structure and design of the bike.

The forthcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 will get a USD fork suspension setup on the front and monoshock on the rear. From the newly released video, it was also noted that the bike still gets the same spoke wheels. However, this time around they will be tubeless. On the front, the headlight has also been changed, and it now features an LED setup on the inside. Additionally, the indicator design has been updated.

Another one of the biggest updates of the bike will be that it will come equipped with a single circular digital LCD display. This new screen will display all the essential information of the bike. It will most likely also be offered with Bluetooth connectivity. Additionally, the switchgear on the handlebar has been revamped.

Coming to the powerplant of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, it will come equipped with a brand-new four-stroke, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The new 451.65cc engine will be able to generate 40 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm. As of yet, the exact torque specifications for this upcoming bike have not been revealed; however, it is believed to be within the range of 40-45 Nm. Additionally, the motorcycle will come with a 6-speed transmission unit as standard.
