NEW DELHI: The air operator certificate (AOC or licence) of Jet Airways – whose revival has been a non-starter so far – has been conditionally extended by the DGCA “only for the limited purpose of completing the ongoing corporate insolvency resolution process (CIRP)” till September 3, 2023. The licence of Jet Airways, which was supposed to be revived by Jalan Kalrock Consortium (JKC, the winning bidder under the insolvency process) had lapsed this May after no headway was made .

JKC on Monday said the DGCA had renewed the AOC on July 28, “thereby reinforcing JKC’s commitment to revive” Jet.
