We’ve all used a 4.5 inch angle grinder, and on many occasions I’ve said that they are arguably the most useful tool you can have in the shop. With that said, they can also be really dangerous if you don’t use them correctly. Even an average cutting wheel, grinding disc, or flap wheel can take a giant chunk out of your arm, hand, or leg, just like they do the metal you use them on. So what about these other weird attachments you can buy for them?

I’m talking about chain saws, hedge trimmers, and more. In fact, there are so many weird saw attachments and such, along with all the weird ones you see people make themselves, and a lot of them are just plain scary looking. What do you think? Would you want to use them?

Watch the video to see which ones actually work well and how many really are scary for a good reason.

Video Description:

Attachments: Chainsaw, hedge trimmer, circular saw, drill, oscillating tool, belt sander, flap disc, wire wheel, cup wheel strip wheel, and scouring wheel. Tools are compared for build quality and performance. Abrasive wheels compared on rusted metal and for paint removal.
