Gas up 4 cents across N.L., most other fuels change by fractions of a penny | CBC News

The price of gas is up across Newfoundland and Labrador while most fuel prices stayed relatively flat following the latest adjustment from the Public Utilities Board.
Gas increased by 4.3 cents per litre on Thursday, putting the price on the Avalon at a maximum of $1.72 per litre. Prices across the rest Newfoundland vary between $1.72 and $1.89 per litre, while customers will pay between between $1.69 and $2.25 per litre.
Diesel increased by just a tenth of a cent per litre across the province, putting prices between $2.16 and $2.28 per litre in Newfoundland and between $1.95 and $2.39 per litre.
Furnace oil decreased by 0.98 cents per litre. Customers in Newfoundland will now pay between $1.36 and $1.54 per litre for the fuel.
Stove oil decreased by 0.29 cents per litre across Newfoundland, and by just about half that price in Labrador West and Churchill Falls. Prices for the fuel now range between $1.47 and $1.65 per litre in Newfoundland and between $1.40 and $1.85 per litre in Labrador.
Propane increased by 0.7 cents per litre, putting prices between $0.98 and $1.11 per litre in Newfoundland and between $0.84 and $1.28 per litre.
