Missing Brandon boy, 12, last seen leaving school on Tuesday: police | CBC News

A 12-year-old boy from Brandon who did not return home after leaving school on Tuesday has been reported missing.

K’jean James, 12, was last seen leaving Brandon’s George Fitton School on Third Street, between Brandon and Queens avenues, around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, police said in a news release.

James regularly walks to his family’s home on Richmond Avenue, between third and sixth streets, but did not show up on Tuesday, according to police.

The 12-year-old is described as five feet, four inches tall with a slim-medium build and short, black hair. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket with the hood up, as well as black boots and a blue Puma backpack.

Police say they and James’ family are concerned for his well-being, “as there are some factors present which may make him vulnerable to being exploited.”
