Sporting Lagos Match With Kano Pillars Postponed

Nigerian club Sporting Lagos’ NPFL game with Kano Pillars has been postponed to Monday, November 6 at Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos.
The fixture was originally billed for Sunday, November 5 at the same venue.
The match was pushed to Monday as a result of a scheduling conflict.
Due to the game been played on a Monday the Lagos State based team won’t have their regular game day activities.

The game will be free for all who wish to watch the encounter at the Stadium.
The Paul Offor led side issued a statement which was on their X (formerly known as Twitter) handle.
“Due to an unforseen scheduling conflict at Onikan Stadium, our NPFL game against Kano Pillars which was Scheduled for Sunday, 5th November has been moved to Monday, 6th November at 4 p.m.
“Because the game is on a Monday l, we won’t have our regular game activities. Entry to Onikan Stadium is free for fans who want to come and support the team.”
This is Sporting Lagos’ first season ever in the NPFL following their promotion from the Nigerian National League (NNL).
The NPFL debutants are currently in eighth position on the log with eight points after six games in the division.
After the game with Kano Pillars Spotting Lagos will face Heartland FC on Sunday, November 12 at Onikan Stadium.
Kano Pillars are presently occupying fifth position in the league with nine points from six matches.
