The top fireworks displays in Southampton and the New Forest this weekend

Friday
- The Ageas Bowl Fireworks Night will be taking place on Friday.
Gates open at 6pm with the fireworks display starting at 7:30pm (timings may differ due to weather).
The fireworks display will last 20 minutes and be synchronised to a soundtrack.
Plus, attendees can enjoy fairground rides and plenty of food and drink options including hog roast, noodles, pulled pork, pizza, churros, coffee, and sweets.

Saturday
- Mayflower Park will be hosting a family fireworks display on Saturday with gates opening from 4pm.
The fireworks themselves will be from 7pm onwards whilst there will also be live music from 5pm to 10pm.
Alongside that, attendees can enjoy funfair rides and plenty of different food stalls.
- Wellow School’s annual Fireworks Display in Romsey Road, West Wellow.
Gates open at 5.30pm with BBQ and refreshments available, with the bonfire lit at 6.30pm and fireworks starting at 7pm.
The 30 minute-long display is set to music and the theme is 100 years of Disney.
Entry to the event is via Romsey Road or School Lane.
- New Forest Fireworks Night at Strawberry Fields
The spectacular in Boldre, Lymington, kicks off at 5pm with the display scheduled for 7.30pm.
Attractions include fireworks, a huge bonfire, delicious street food celebrating local produce, a fire performer, live music, a fairground with rides for all ages and a bar.
Sunday
- Totton and Eling Cricket Club’s spectacular will follow on Sunday.
Gates will open at 4.30pm with the main show of fireworks scheduled to kick off at 6.30pm.
Alongside the main event, there will be a host DJ, fairground rides, a hog roast, plenty of food stalls and outside and inside bars.
The event takes place from 5.30pm to 8pm.
