Ben Davies is set to miss out for Tottenham after a knock prevented him from training this week following their win at Crystal Palace.

Destiny Udogie (muscle) is a doubt but Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring), Manor Solomon (knee), Ivan Perisic (ACL) and Alfie Whiteman (ankle) remain ruled out.

Chelsea could welcome Mykhailo Mudryk back into contention after he sat out thir last two matches with a muscle injury.

Trevorh Chalobah, Ben Chilwell (both hamstring), Wesley Fofana (ACL), Romeo Lavia (ankle), Carney Chukwuemeka, Armando Broja and Christopher Nkunku (all knee) remain ruled out.

When is Kick-Off?

Tottenham host Chelsea at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in a 8:00pm GMT kick-off on Monday 6 November, live on Sky Sports in the UK.

Stat Attack

  • Tottenham have won just one of their last nine league meetings against Chelsea (W1, D2, L6).
  • Chelsea have won three of their last five league trips to Tottenham (W3, L2).
  • Ex Tottenham striker, Harry Kane scored in both meetings against Chelsea last season (W1, D1).
  • Each of Son Heung-min’s last two goals at home for Tottenham were scored in the 36th minute.
  • Marc Cucurella has been booked in each of Chelsea’s last two away matches.

Prediction

Despite their poor recent record against Chelsea, Tottenham shouldn’t fear this London derby after having already survived tough competition against Manchester United and Liverpool at home – plus Arsenal away, but they did need clinical finishing and patience to beat Palace last weekend.

Chelsea meanwhile were just poor in their end product against Brentford last weekend in spite of their dominance and were deservedly punished for sloppy defending, but rebounded with a dominant midweek win over Blackburn in the Carabao Cup.

Tottenham though will be a huge step up on Blackburn quality wise and unless Chelsea can rediscover their recent up-turn in league form, I can’t see Tottenham losing this given their confidence and momentum but they will likely concede at least one goal.

Prediction: Tottenham 2-1 Chelsea
