‘Let’s Do It Again’ — Business Tycoon Tafida Charges Super Eagles To Go For The Ultimate Prize At AFCON 2023

Business tycoon Murtala Tafida has charged the Super Eagles of Nigeria to go for victory at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Super Eagles have been placed in Group A of the competition along with hosts Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea and Guinea-Bissau.

The biennial tournament will take place between January 13 and February 11, 2024.

In a video posted on the Super Eagles X (formerly known as Twitter) handle, Tafida urged the Super Eagles to clinch the title again.

“I remember growing up, football united us, made us smile,laugh and even cry for joy,” Tafida said.

“Those moments were magical, we believe we can do it again because football isn’t won by the best players, it is won by the team with the best attitude and fortunately for us, we have both. Let’s do it again Super Eagles, let’s do it again Nigeria.”

The Super Eagles will take on Equatorial Guinea in their opening fixture at the Alhassan Quattara Stadium, Ebimpe on January 14.

Jose Peseiro’s side second game will be against hosts Cote four days later.

The three-time champions will round up their group stage campaign against Guinea-Bissau on January 22.

The Super Eagles were ousted in the Round of 16 at the last AFCON by Tunisia.
