Windsor police and fire services say they are investigating a fire that broke out at Jackson Park this afternoon.

Cause of the fire remains unknown, police say

Windsor police say they are investigating a fire that broke out at Jackson Park on Sunday.

They say the fire broke out around 4 p.m.

According to police, the cause of the fire remains unknown.

A Windsor fire official said the fire was a straw fire and that the fire department is also investigating the fire.

The fire official also said they don’t know if they will find the cause, as crews on-site put out the fire with heavy equipment.

The same official says no injuries have been reported.

Windsor Fire and Rescue Services says smoke is still in area north of Tecumseh Rd.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact either them or Crime Stoppers.
