ICA’s finance committee has resigned, citing a concern about an “omerta” within the organisation

A member of the Irish Countrywomen’s Association (ICA) finance committee has resigned, citing major concerns about a “culture of omerta” in the big- gest women’s organisation in the country.

In an email shared with senior ICA members – including the president and board – former finance committee member Marie Gorman revealed Revenue is now carrying out a level-two audit on the organisation.
