Traffic and travel: crash on Dublin’s M50 and Irish Rail services delayed

There are delays on the M50 this morning following a crash.

The incident happened on the M50 between Junction 12 – Firhouse and Junction 13 – Dundrum.

The middle and right lanes are currently moving slowly.

There has been a collision on Grange Road in Baldoyle blocking the westbound lane. Traffic is entering the eastbound lane to pass.

Other routes approaching Dublin are also experiencing delays.

This includes the M1 South, M3 South, M4 East, M7 East. There are delays on M50 between Junction 3 – Junction 9 Southbound.

An Irish Rail service is also delayed this morning, The 5.30am Dundalk to Grand Canal Dock is operating approximately 15 minutes behind schedule.

There are ongoing delays of approximately 10 minutes expected between Dundalk and Drogheda due to this signalling issue in the area.
