Morning traffic and travel: Luas delays following medical emergency, Dart suspended after vehicle hits bridge

Those travelling on the Luas will face delays this morning following a medical emergency.

Passengers on the Red Line should be aware that services are operating with delays following the incident at Abbey Street.

Meanwhile, some Dart services were suspended in Dublin after a vehicle hit a bridge this morning.

Services operating through Drumcondra station were stopped for around an hour at 7.30am. They’re running again but delays continue.

Other services facing issues include the 6.30am from Dundalk to Bray. It will terminate at Dun Laoghaire station due to a technical issue.

The 9am Bray to Connolly service will commence its journey from Dun Laoghaire station as a result.

The 8am Belfast to Connolly service is operating approximately 45 minutes late with reduced capacity and standard class only. The 11.20am Connolly to Belfast service will operate with reduced capacity and standard class only, this is due to a broken down train.
