  • The Scorpion brand reveals the exterior and interior of the 600e.
  • The hot B-SUV will be Abarth’s most powerful model with 237 hp.
  • The Scorpionissima edition will be limited to 1,949 units honoring Abarth’s founding year.
  • Full debut coming this June.

Abarth published the first non-CGI photos of the 600e in the Scorpionissima launch edition – including giving us the first look at the interior – as a way of celebrating its 75th anniversary. The performance-focused version of the Fiat 600e will debut in June 2024 and will be the “most powerful Abarth ever” thanks to the 237 hp from its fully electric powertrain.

Following the earlier teaser, Abarth published three “non-edited” photos, revealing the entirety of the exterior and interior design. Starting from the cabin, the Scorpionissima features leather and Alcantara upholstery, a pair of bucket seats with a Scorpion pattern, a sportier steering wheel, lime yellow stitching, and Abarth lettering on the dashboard.

Equipment includes the 10-inch infotainment system with Abarth-specific graphics and performance-related screens. The model also inherits the “Sound Generator” from the Abarth 500e, producing fake noises during startup and acceleration, resembling a combustion engine.

From the outside, Abarth’s subcompact SUV looks angrier than the standard Fiat thanks to the redesigned bodykit, the vivid colors, the 20-inch alloy wheels, and the scorpion emblems. The deeper front and rear bumpers feature large, boxy, but purely decorative intakes, sending rally-car vibes together with the rear spoiler and diffuser. In the Scorpionissima, the flashy purple shade contrasts the lime yellow accents on the calipers, center caps, and scorpion emblems.

The company hasn’t given us the detailed specifications of the EV but confirmed it makes 237 hp (240 PS / 177 kW), which is a healthy boost compared to the 154 hp (115 kW/156 PS) of the Fiat 600e. A new mechanical limited-slip differential will help put all this power on the road through the front wheels.

Abarth also mentioned “racing contents” hinting at a sharper setup for the suspension and steering. There is no word on range figures but we expect the 54 kWh battery pack to be carried over from the Fiat.

The Scorpionissima launch edition will be offered in a limited number of 1,949 units, as a nod to the founding year of Abarth. More details about the Abarth 600e will be unveiled on its official debut which is scheduled for this June.
