“Phil played an important role within AEW and I thank him for his contributions. Terminating your contracts with AEW for cause was ultimately my decision, and mine alone. Of course, I wish I didn’t have to share this news, which may be a disappointment to many of our fans. However, I am making the decision in the best interest of the many incredible people who make AEW possible every week: our talent, staff, venue operators, and others whose efforts go unrecognized but are essential to bringing our great shows to television and to the stadium. stadiums around the world.
