AFD say fire ‘knocked down’ after responding to 2-story structure fire

AUSTIN (KXAN) — One person has been displaced, and no injuries were reported after the Austin Fire Department said it responded to a two-story structure fire in northwest Austin Wednesday night.

Around 9:35 p.m., AFD crews responded to the 10000 block of Anderson Mill Road where heavy fire was seen on arrival at the commercial/residential building, the agency said on social media.

AFD said the heavy fire “has been knocked down,” and crews were conducting overhaul.
