ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Albany County Sheriff’s Department welcomed new officers on Friday. A swearing-in ceremony was held at the Albany County Courthouse.
Three new correctional officers and 15 new deputy sheriffs were sworn in. Nine other officers were promoted during the ceremony.
Sheriff Craig Apple thanked all the officers for their dedication.
