Bajaj has officially introduced the all-new Pulsar N150 in the Indian market, drawing inspiration from the successful N160 while positioning itself above the previously launched P150. As for pricing, the Bajaj Pulsar N150 is currently available in a single variant with an ex-showroom price of Rs 1,17,677. This commuter motorcycle blends sporty elements into its design and aims to capitalize on the N160’s 45% market share. The N150 is available in three color options—Metallic Pearl White, Ebony Black, and Racing Red, with a sky blue variant expected to arrive later.
The styling of the Pulsar N150 takes clear cues from its larger sibling, the N160, resulting in a sporty and aggressive appearance. Its straight riding triangle adds a touch of sportiness to the overall riding experience. The front fascia boasts an aggressive design, lending it the appearance of a sports bike within its budget-friendly segment. Additional features include a substantial tank shroud, a sculpted fuel tank, an engine cowl, rugged side body panels, an underbelly exhaust, a part-digital instrument cluster, a USB port, an LED projector headlamp, a single-seat setup for comfortable family riding, and nearly 50-50 weight distribution.
Under the hood, the Bajaj Pulsar N150 is equipped with a 149.68-cc four-stroke, air-cooled, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine capable of delivering a robust performance of 14.5 PS of power and 13.5 Nm of torque. Power is transmitted through a 5-speed manual transmission. Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic front fork and a monoshock rear suspension, offering 27% more wheel travel.

The bike sports a wider rear tire with a 120-section, while the front tire measures 90-section, further enhancing stability and control. Safety features include a single-channel ABS for the front wheel and a rear drum brake. The front disc brake is 240 mm in diameter, while the rear drum measures 130 mm. The Pulsar N150 boasts an impressive fuel efficiency ranging from 45 to 50 km/l and is approximately 7 kg lighter than the N160.
In the future, Bajaj may introduce a dual-disc brake variant at a slightly higher price point, offering customers an even wider range of choices to suit their needs. Bajaj Auto is aiming to assert its dominance in the highly popular 150-cc segment with this latest addition, and its reception among buyers will be closely watched. Bajaj Auto will soon introduce the biggest Pulsar ever, with an engine capacity rumoured at nearly 400cc. This was recently hinted by Rajiv Bajaj, the CEO of the Indian motorcycle giant.
