Morning Live was pulled off air in favour of consumer affairs programme Rip Off Britian which aired in its place.

After an extended break, the Gethin Jones fronted show will finally be back on air from Monday October 23 at 9:15am.

Gethin will be back alongside co-star Michelle Ackerley when the show makes its return next week with the show’s official social media account confirming the news.

Alongside a post on X -formerly Twitter – it confirmed the duo would be back alongside chef and food writer Anna Haugh.

The post read: “Morning Live is back on Monday 23rd October, and there’s room for everyone on camera! Especially you, @Anahaugh! Until then, watch all our shows @BBCiPlayer!”

Now the show has issued a plea to fans as it appeared to be searching for content to feature on the show.

In an unusual move, the Beeb asked the audience what they wanted to see on the show specifically.

It also implied that it wanted to know what fans were talking about in their “group chats” in order to replicate on screen.

Morning Live has proven a success since it was launched to rival ITV’s Lorraine as well as offer an alternative to the crisis-hit This Morning.

Gethin Jones fronts the show alongside a series of co-stars including Kimberley Walsh and Kym Marsh.

Sara Cox, Sam Quek and Rav Wilding have also presented the programme from time to time.
