Canada beats Czechia, will face U.S. in gold-medal game at women’s hockey worlds

Team Canada is headed back to the gold-medal game at the IIHF Women’s World Championship.

With a 4-0 win over Czechia in Saturday’s semifinal, Canada advances to face the defending champion United States on Sunday.

The U.S. defeated Finland 5-0 earlier in the day to book its spot in the final.

This will be the 22nd time that Canada and the U.S. face off for gold at the tournament.
