Four siblings who were last seen in Centennial in June were found safe in Louisiana and are now safely back in Colorado, the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office said in a Wednesday news release.
The four children, whose ages range from 4 to 9 years old, were living in a foster home and had a weekend visit with their father, Howard Myles, starting June 30, officials said.
He was supposed to return them on July 2 but failed to show up.
Officials said at the time Myles had ties to Louisiana and Texas.
Myles on Oct. 16 dropped the children off at a family member’s house in Port Allen, La., and were brought back to Colorado earlier this week.
Officials said they were unharmed and in good health.
Investigators are still searching for Myles, who has active arrest warrants. He was last seen Oct. 17 in Port Allen.
The children’s mother had also disappeared in June and was believed to be with the family. She was arrested in July in Houston and is in the Arapahoe County Detention Facility.
Anyone who may have information that can help investigators with this case is asked to call the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Investigations Tipline at 720-874-8477.
