Former Chelsea midfielder John Mikel Obi has urged Victor Osimhen to choose the Stamford Bridge as his next destination.
Osimhen is currently regarded as one of the best strikers in the game at the moment.
The Nigeria international was infuriated by a TikTok video posted by the club after he missed a penalty in the Partenopei’s Serie A clash against Bologna last month.
Talks over a new contract has also slowed down and the striker will have one-year remaining on his contract next summer.
Napoli may be forced to sell Osimhen next summer and Mikel has advised his compatriot to move to the Stamford Bridge.
“He’s got the arrogance, he’s got the personality, you can feel someone has walked into the dressing room and that’s what Didier [Drogba] had. With Victor, I will say definitely he’s come close to Didier. My advice for him is to come to Chelsea.” Mikel said on Obionepodcast.
The 24-year-old , who is currently recuperating from an hamstring injury has scored six goals in 10 appearances across all competitions for Napoli this season.
