Crews respond to house fire in Nestor; five displaced

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Four adults and one child have been displaced as the result of a Wednesday morning house fire in the Nestor neighborhood.
According to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department, a call came in reporting a structure fire in the 1900 block of Valance Street at 5:55 a.m.
Upon arrival, SDFD said crews saw light smoke coming from the attic of a home. The occupants of the house had all exited prior to their arrival.
There were no reports of injuries.
Four adults and one child have been displaced, SDFD confirmed. They are being assisted by the Red Cross.
As of 8 a.m., the situation remained ongoing.
