Deebo Samuel ruled out for second half NFC Divisional game

(KRON) — The San Francisco 49ers will not have one of their best offensive players for the remainder of Saturday’s home NFC Divisional game. Wide receiver Deebo Samuel has been ruled out for the second half.
Samuel, 28, suffered a shoulder injury. The 2021 All-Pro receiver suffered the injury in the first half of the playoff game against the Green Bay Packers.
He was initially ruled questionable but was later downgraded to out. Earlier in the first half, Samuel was evaluated with a head injury.
Samuel was evaluated for the head injury and was cleared shortly after.
In 15 games this season, Samuel caught 60 passes for 892 yards and seven touchdowns. He also rushed for 225 yards and five touchdowns.
The 49ers were up 7-6 to begin the second half.
