DENVER (KDVR) — The warming trend slowly continues on Tuesday as mostly sunny skies stick around in the Denver weather forecast.
Weather today: Sunny and mild
Mostly sunny skies are across Colorado on Tuesday, allowing for slightly warmer temperatures.
Highs will reach the upper 50s with a brisk wind through the afternoon.
Weather tonight: Clear and seasonal
Skies will stay clear through Tuesday night, as winds become light. Overnight lows are close to seasonal averages in the middle to lower 30s.
Looking ahead: Warming and staying dry
Sunny skies stick around through the middle of the week with highs hitting the upper 60s on Wednesday afternoon.
Thursday is even warmer as highs top out in the lower 70s with plenty of sunshine. Friday rounds out the workweek with abundant sunshine and warm highs in the middle 70s.
The weather looks great for those headed to the Rockies home opener on Friday.
Changes arrive for the weekend with increasing clouds and snow in the high country on Saturday.
Highs along the Front Range will be in the upper 50s on Saturday with the chance for a late shower or storm.
Denver could see a spotty shower on Sunday with extra clouds and highs in the middle 50s.
Sunshine returns early next week on Monday with highs in the upper 50s.
