The Six have been on edge for several weeks in EastEnders after discovering that the weapon that had been used to kill Keanu Taylor was missing.
Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) stashed the meat thermometer beneath her bed after using it to stab Keanu, but was left horrified when Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) revealed that it was missing.
In recent scenes, Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) made her highly anticipated return to Albert Square, and Linda was forced to explain everything that she’d missed.
Sharon was shocked by the emotional journey each of the women had been on in her absence, and was left horrified when she learnt about the missing weapon.
Determined to reunite The Six, who had become somewhat fractured throughout their ordeal, Sharon demanded that whoever had taken the weapon should leave it in the barrel store that night, no questions asked.
However, it soon became clear that none of The Six had the weapon, when Linda was left stunned by its sudden reappearance.
As Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) served up a delicious looking leg of lamb for Easter dinner, Linda was distracted by the meat thermometer sticking out of it.
Horrified, she questioned Elaine on where it had come from, and Elaine explained that she had found it in a box beneath Linda’s bed while she was clearing out empty bottles and rotten food.
Despite Elaine’s assurance that she had washed it, Linda freaked out and fought to pull it out, sending the dinner flying across the room.
Johnny was quick to cover for Linda’s erratic behaviour, insisting to the rest of the family that she was just drunk.
When Johnny assured Linda that he would get rid of the weapon once and for all, she informed him that there was something she needed to do first.
Having gathered the rest of The Six in the barrel store once again, she showed them the weapon and explained that she wanted them to see it so that they knew they could all trust each other.

In a bid to make up for being absent for so long, Sharon offered to dispose of the weapon, and assured the rest of the women that they had nothing left to worry about.
Unfortunately, across the road in the cafe, disaster soon struck, as the floor above Keanu’s makeshift grave caved in.
How will The Six cope with this new development? Are they set to be caught out?
