Rivian is offering a $2,500 lease discount on select 2023 models from its inventory, making its electric offerings all the more compelling.
The company has recently rolled out a promotion offering a $2,500 discount on 2023 R1T and R1S models in the United States. We’ve reached out to Rivian to confirm if this offer applies to all R1T and R1S models, as well as to inquire about its duration. We’ll keep you updated on any developments once we hear back from them.
The deal first came to light through a Reddit post after a user shared his invoice after he signed a lease for a 2023 R1T Adventure Package. They were also offered the choice of a free upgrade of either the interior, paint, or wheels. The first of those is valued at $2,000. Not bad.

This is not the only recent piece of news that makes now as good a time as ever to buy an R1T or R1S. Last week, Rivian owners were granted access to the Tesla Supercharger network across North America and are being sent an NACS adapter free of charge. This means owners now have access to 15,000 extra DC fast chargers. The new charging spots have also been added to the Rivian navigation system and Trip Planner. Finding them should be a breeze.
Using the Tesla Superchargers will also be easy. All R1T and R1S owners will need to do is pull up, plug in, and charging will start automatically. Payment will be handled automatically through the credit card linked to the Rivian account of owners.
Rivian also continues to grow its own charging network. It plans to install 3,500 DC fast chargers at 600 sites in the U.S. and Canada. It is also building a network of 10,000 Level 2 chargers known as Rivian Waypoints.
