Final Dodge Challenger & Charger roll off the assembly line – The Supercar Blog

The Dodge Challenger and Charger have reportedly gone out of production. According to a media report, the final units of current-gen rolled off the assembly line on December 22, 2023.

The final Challenger produced was an SRT Demon 170 finished in black, while the last Charger to leave the factory was a Scat Pack Widebody painted in Destroyer Gray.

Dodge is said to have produced around 2 million units of the Charger and Challenger, with the former making up around 1.8 million of them, including the Hellcat version.

Dodge is yet to confirm the replacement of its popular muscle cars. However, reports suggest that these could be replaced by a high-performance EV.

The Dodge Charger EV is said to be based on 400-volt architecture, with the top-spec version putting out 885 hp courtesy of an 800-volt architecture. An ICE version is also said to be in the works. It is likely to come with a 6-cylinder engine.
