A fire has affected some telecommunications services in a Saskatoon neighbourhood, according to SaskTel.

In a social media post on X, former known as Twitter, shortly after 8:30 a.m. CST on Sunday, SaskTel said a fire had burned some of its cable infrastructure in Nutana.

The utility said it has affected the internet, cellular, home phone, and MaxTV services of people in that area.

It didn’t provide other details about the fire.

At last word, crews were working to restore services but SaskTel didn’t have an estimate of when services would be restored.
