EcoSport, XUV500 & Ambulance crash into each other: Here’s the result [Video]

One has to be extremely careful while driving on Indian roads. Many examples from the past prove this. Motorists face issues from stray cattle, dogs, jaywalkers, as well as people driving or riding recklessly on the road. In many parts, two-wheeler riders even refuse to wear a riding helmet. According to a recent government report, the number of accident deaths in India went up in 2022. Here, we have a video in which a Ford EcoSport, Mahindra XUV500, and an ambulance crashed into each other in Maharashtra.
The video has been shared by Nikhil Rana on his YouTube channel. Actually, a subscriber online shared the video. The accident happened somewhere in Maharashtra. According to the video, the Force Traveller ambulance was in the front, while the Ford EcoSport and XUV500 were behind it. For some reason, the ambulance driver had to apply brakes. He probably applied the brakes very hard, and the Ford EcoSport driver didn’t have enough time to stop.
The driver, however, managed to stop the car just before crashing. However, the XUV500 behind the EcoSport had no idea what was happening ahead. He could not stop in time and crashed into the rear of the Ford EcoSport. Upon impact, the EcoSport hit the rear of the ambulance. In the pictures, we can see that the rear step of the ambulance is damaged. Other than that, no other damage is visible on the Traveller.
Coming to the Ford EcoSport, the front bumper, grille, bonnet, and headlamps were damaged in the accident. This shows that the SUVs were being driven at a high speed on the highway. The EcoSport is not only damaged from the front, but also in the rear. The XUV500 crashed into the tailgate of the SUV. The spare wheel mount is bent. The cover on the spare wheel is damaged, and the tailgate also caved in.
The XUV500 that caused this crash also has some major damages in the front. The front bumper, headlamps, and bonnet were all damaged. Passengers in all three vehicles are safe without any major injuries. All three vehicles handled the crash well. The cabins of both the SUVs are still intact, and the passengers are safe too. It is not clear whether the Ford EcoSport and XUV500 were actually tailgating or blindly following the ambulance to maintain a high speed. This is a common sight in many metro cities. People often follow such emergency vehicles to escape from traffic jams.
This is absolutely foolish, and one should never do it. The drivers of the emergency vehicles are trained to drive at high speeds, and they often have to make sudden turns or brake hard to avoid a crash. The vehicle blindly following the ambulance often does not have enough time to respond as they have no idea what is happening ahead of them. This often causes accidents. One should always maintain a safe distance from such vehicles. In case you hear the siren of an emergency vehicle behind you, always give way, and blocking the way of an emergency vehicle can actually get you in trouble, and the police can issue a fine for the same as well.
