Friendly Games Against Ghana, Mali Crucial For Us –Super Eagles Coach, Finidi

Super Eagles interim head coach, Finidi George, has said the two friendly games against Ghana and Mali are crucial for the team.
Finidi will take charge of the Super Eagles in the two friendly games which will hold in Marrakech, Morocco following the exit of Jose Peseiro.
The Eagles will take on Ghana on 22 March and on 26 March they will face Mali.
Speaking after the team’s first training session, Finidi said the players will give the two games the seriousness it deserves.

“We want to make them proud,” Finidi said on NFF TV. “AFCON is gone so this are two games that are very crucial for Nigeria so we will take it seriously and get the best out of this games.”
The former Nigeria international was assistant to Peseiro and will now be in charge for the double header ties.
Looking ahead to his first game in charge, he said:”As a coach there’s responsibility and that’s what we do, have to be calm and do the job and do it properly because a lot of Nigerians are watching.”
