Just a few days ago, it was reported that no case of double road homicide has been registered against the billionaire real estate mogul Vikas Oberoi. On further advancement, it has now been reported that Vikas Oberoi and his wife, Bollywood actress Gayatri Joshi, both have returned to Mumbai from Italy. Vikas Oberoi’s company, Oberoi Realty, reported the information of Vikas and Gayatri’s return to Mumbai.
Oberoi Realty, the real estate group owned by Vikas Oberoi, recently released a statement announcing the return of the couple to Mumbai. It stated, “Our Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. Vikas Oberoi, and his wife, Mrs. Gayatri Oberoi, were in a multiple car accident in Sardinia, Italy, early this week. They are safe and have returned to Mumbai today.”

Previously, it was reported that the real estate magnate Vikas Oberoi was being investigated by the Cagliari law enforcement authorities for double road homicide. However, it was then cleared by Oberoi’s company that he has not been charged with any such case. Now, according to Italian media reports, it has also been confirmed that there is no prima facie case against Vikas Oberoi. Additionally, the reports added that at the moment, the police authorities have managed to secure a number of videos from the crash site and are investigating each of them.

Now, exactly when their investigation will end has not been reported. Other reports have stated that the reason Vikas Oberoi has not been charged with any offenses is because the Ferrari in which the Swiss couple died due to rollover and fire was more at fault. Now, whether this is entirely the case or not has not been confirmed. Currently, the investigation is underway, and till then, Vikas Oberoi has been set free.
Vikas Oberoi and Gayatri Joshi’s Lamborghini accident
For those who are not up to speed on this case, what happened was Vikas Oberoi and his wife, Bollywood actress Gayatri Joshi, were recently involved in a multi-supercar accident in Sardinia, Italy. Following their mishap, a video of the entire situation spread like wildfire online. The video showed the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder of Vikas Oberoi getting crashed into by a red Ferrari Portofino convertible supercar. The Ferrari was being driven by a Swiss couple who were trying to overtake Vikas’ Lamborghini and a motorhome at the same time.

It was noted from the video that Vikas’ Lamborghini, after the impact, caused the motorhome in front to flip, and the Ferrari then crashed into that flipped motorhome. After this, it was reported that the Ferrari also rolled over and then caught on fire. Unfortunately, this fire resulted in the death of the Swiss couple. Soon after the crash, images showed both Vikas Oberoi and Gayatri Joshi being stunned after their Lamborghini went into a ditch. From the pictures, it was also noted that the airbags of their Lamborghini Huracan Spyder were fully deployed.
