A GOODNIGHT Mister Tom child star, now looks unrecognisable as he stripped off and celebrated the film’s 25th anniversary.
The late John Thaw played the titular Mister Tom, who takes in a young boy evacuee called William during the Second World War.

The bitter old man goes through a series of challenges as he slowly starts to William as his own.
Goodnight, Mister Tom is still considered a family classic.
Since the film came out 25 years ago, you might be wondering where William is now.
William was played by actor Nick Robinson.
Since appearing in the 1998 drama film, Nick has appeared in several TV shows, including Harry and the Wrinklies and Midsomer Murders.
Nick has devoted his adult life to the theatre, with photos on his Instagram showing him on stage and in his dressing room.
Now a full grown man, he is far from the helpless child he portrayed in the film; however, he still loves it.
As part of the film’s 25th anniversary, he posted some behind-the-scenes images from the set on social media.
One of the photos showed Nick and John Thaw on the set of the legendary film, with a burning building in the background.
Another shows a young Nick dressed as his character and having a drink, while another shows him getting his hair fixed on set.
Nick captioned the post: “Today marks 25 years since Goodnight Mister Tom first aired on television and changed my life… a quarter of a century…
Today I take a moment to reflect on the special times I spent with John, Annabelle and the rest of the cast and crew – what an incredible film we made together.”
The photos brought back memories of the film for many fans, and some talked about how much they loved it as a child.
Taking to the comments section, one wrote: “Love this!”
A second said: “Wonderful film. I can’t count how many times I have watched it with my girls and grandchildren. I still cry every time.”
A third wrote: “It was and is still one of my favourite films ever,I watch it every time it’s on.”
A fourth added: “Wonderful, magical, Nicholas. As I have told you in the past, you must be so proud of being a big reason why this film is so, so special.”
A fifth penned: “My wee Mammy loved this film and cried through it. I kept it when clearing her house when she passed. We watched it recently and now I’m in tears, beautiful film.”
Nick recently shared photos from his sun-soaked vacation in Spain’s Playa Balmins beach.
The former child actor stripped into a pair of black spedos, and posed for the camera on the sand.
Elsewhere, in his personal life, Nick is married to former Big Brother contestant Andy West.
Andy finished fourth in the seventeenth season of the reality show in 2016.
The pair tied the knot in December 2019.
The former reality star shared a snap from their special day on their second anniversary earlier this month and paid tribute to Nick.
