Here’s how to donate to wildfire victims in Smokehouse Creek Fire

DALLAS (KDAF) — According to Texas A&M Forest Service, the Smokehouse Creek fire began Monday afternoon and spread from 100,000 to 500,000 acres in a single day.
Donation sites have been set in place to help the different areas affected by the disaster:
Borger
The City of Borger/Hutchinson County OEM has confirmed places to donate:
- Pantex Federal Credit Union
- Amarillo National Bank/Borger Bank
- Red Cross
- Amarillo Area Foundation
- Fritch Volunteer Fire Department
- Stinnett Volunteer Fire Department
- Hutchinson County United Way
Amarillo
The Panhandle Disaster Relief Fund is accepting money through the Amarillo Area Foundation. The Amarillo Sod Poodles team has already received $1000 worth of products to help the community of Canadian due to the fires.
They are still accepting donations to a semi-trailer loaded with donations for the victims. The trailer will be open for donations on 3rd and Johnson on the east side of the Civic Center. It will be open until 7 pm and will start again early in the morning.
HF&C Feeds Amarillo said via their Facebook that they also accepting donations at “both HF&C locations to help those affected by the #panhandle fires.” Donations can be made under our “Disaster Relief Fund”. The Amarillo Fire Department is working with multiple people to collect donations, according to their Facebook. The department is looking for non-perishable food, drinks, diapers and other items that can be dropped off at Bubba’s 33 at I-40 and Georgia.
Pampa
“At this point what is needed most is monetary donations and livestock feed and hay,” the City of Pampa wrote on their Facebook page. The post also has a list of where monetary donations can be sent:

Stinnett
First Baptist Church in Stinnett is taking toiletry, snack and hygiene donations, according to their Facebook.
Logan, N.M.
Donations for disaster relief to the impacted fire departments and families of the Panhandle wildfires are being accepted by Logan EMS and Fire. They are asking for water, eye drops, Tylenol, ibuprofen, non-perishables and travel-size toiletries. Check the full list here.
Dallam-Hartley Counties
Dallam-Hartley Counties Hospital District is accepting donations of essential items and non-perishable snacks for firefighters and people affected by the fires, according to their Facebook.
