Honda recalls nearly 300K vehicles in Canada due to defect potentially causing engine failure

Honda Canada announced on Thursday up to 297,836 vehicles have been affected by its latest recall due to a fuel pump defect potentially increasing the risks of engine failure or stalling while driving.
Affected vehicles include 2018 to 2020 Honda Accord, Civic, Clarity, CR-V, Fit, HR-V, Insight, Odyssey, Passport and Ridgeline models. Certain 2018 to 2020 Acura ILX, MDX, NSX, RDX, RLX and TLX models are also impacted. A full list is available at on Honda Canada’s website.
More than 2.5 million Honda vehicles in the United States were also recalled, according to documents published by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
