The video was shared by Nikhil Rana on his YouTube channel. He saw the video on Instagram and reposted it on his channel. The incident occurred somewhere in Gujarat. The video shows a Hyundai Creta being driven recklessly, following another SUV on a highway. The SUV driver seemed to be trying to avoid a confrontation and was driving peacefully.
The Creta SUV overtakes the other SUV from the left side, and the Creta driver then applies the brakes and tries to cut in front of the other SUV. In an attempt to escape, the SUV driver takes the car onto a service road and then accelerates to rejoin the highway. However, the Creta continues to follow the SUV.
The Creta successfully overtakes the other SUV, and then the driver starts driving the Creta in a zigzag manner, blocking the way for the SUV behind. The entire incident was recorded on the dash camera of the SUV that was under attack. We see the SUV driver trying his best to escape from the situation, but it was to no avail.
The Creta driver finally comes to a stop, and the SUV behind doesn’t have enough time to stop, crashing into the rear of the Creta. Almost immediately after the crash, the occupants jump out of the rear seat with long sticks in their hands, as if they were prepared for this. They approach and, without warning, start smashing the windows of the SUV.
The SUV driver panics and reverses the car. After covering a few meters, he drives the car forward and escapes from the scene. There have been instances where people have attacked other road users for trivial reasons. In this case, we don’t know the exact reason why the SUV owner was attacked.
It is possible that the SUV owner was trying to escape after causing some issues. Another possibility is that it was a robbery attempt. There have been reports of criminals attacking car owners in broad daylight and stealing their cars. The individuals in the Creta might have attacked the car with the intention of stealing it or taking something valuable from inside, like cash or jewelry.
These are all assumptions, as we don’t have a clear picture of what happened. We also cannot rule out the possibility of this being a staged scene. We live in a time where people will go to any extent to get views and likes on social media. It wouldn’t be surprising if this turns out to be a scripted video for viral content.
