If You Don’t Crash A Ford Mustang At First, Try Again And You Shall Succeed

Crashing into a crowd, a tree, or a wall appears to be par of the course for many Ford Mustang owners and the driver of this particular example is no different. Sure, he took him a couple of attempts but he still ended up in a wall.

Footage of the bizarre crash was recently shared to TikTok and then reposted on Reddit. It appears to have been shot during a casual track day and initially shows the driver of a black and white fifth-generation Mustang getting a little too greedy with the throttle on the exit of a right corner. He attempts to correct the slide but quickly gives up and jumps on the brakes, bringing the car to a stop. No harm done.

The driver can then be seen turning the car around but rather than pulling away slowly as you may expect after spinning the muscle car just moments before, he pins the throttle and immediately lights up the rear tires. The Mustang quickly proceeded to slide to the right and once again, the driver was unable to correct the slide and jumped on the brakes. The only difference this time is that he proceeded to slam into a wall on the side of the track.
It’s difficult to say how much damage the car sustained in the crash but the wall appeared to have some give to it and wasn’t completely solid, likely cushioning the impact to an extent. Nevertheless, we’re sure the passenger side of the car has been dented and scratched and will probably need to be taken to a body shop for repairs.
