2023 INFINITI QX50 Review: Prices, Specs, and Photos

[ad_1]

The base 2023 Infiniti QX50 in Pure trim includes almost everything we’d want from our compact luxury crossover, so there is no need to be tempted by more expensive models. It scores 8 out of 10 thanks to that, its solid infotainment system, and a strong warranty.

The base QX50 Pure starts at $41,495, and all-wheel drive adds $2,000. It’s a complete package, with a generous list of driver-assistance technology, synthetic leather, power front seats, 19-inch alloy wheels, remote start, heated outside mirrors, wireless device charging, and an infotainment system comprised of twin touchscreens (8.0 inches on top, 7.0 on bottom) with wireless Apple CarPlay. Sorry, Android users: your system is still wired.

The next trim up, Luxe, costs $3,300 more for leather, a sunroof, and a newly standard motion-activated tailgate.

The new Sport trim replaces last year’s mid-tier Essential, at $49,495, and brings semi-aniline leather, a Bose premium audio system, 20-inch alloy wheels, and exclusive exterior styling.

Sensory, at $54,690, features much nicer interior finishes but at that price, be sure to cross-shop with sportier, more powerful, and more upscale competitors.

How much is a fully loaded Infiniti QX50?

The top-tier Autograph features standard all-wheel drive and gorgeous interior finishes such as quilted leather seating surfaces and open-pore genuine wood trim, which will set you back $59,445. The QX55 Sensory model goes even further, with open-pore maple wood trim and semi-aniline leather, about $60,000. The new-for-2023 Sport trim, with exclusive exterior styling updates, splits the difference between base and beauty at $50,890.

A warranty of four years/60,000 miles includes three years of free scheduled maintenance.
