2023 Jeep Compass Review: Prices, Specs, and Photos

[ad_1]

Jeep charges a hearty premium for the 2023 Compass, though even base Sport models deliver a decent feature set for $31,590. That money buys a big 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, Alexa compatibility, LED headlights, keyless entry and start, and crash-avoidance tech. A three-year/36,000-mile warranty includes basic maintenance during that time, too.

The 2023 Compass scores a 7 for features, with points above average for standard fare and the 8.4-inch touchscreen.

The Compass climbs rapidly from there, though. Even paint colors other than white cost at least $500.

Which Jeep Compass should I buy?

We’d skip the base model and step up to the Latitude, which at $33,890 includes upgraded interior trim and a power-adjustable driver’s seat, plus the ability to opt for niceties such as automatic climate control, heated seats and steering wheel, power liftgate, remote start, a surround-view camera system, and adaptive cruise control.

Doing so nudges the price close to $38,000, though, which is a lot for a crossover SUV this small.

Alternatively, the plucky Trailhawk runs about $37,300, though Jeep wants more for heated seats, leather trim, and adaptive cruise control.

How much is a fully loaded Jeep Compass?

The range-topping Compass High Altitude can be optioned up to nearly $45,000. It comes with leather seats, navigation, 19-inch wheels, and more.

But a loaded-up Trailhawk with similar kit runs $47,215.
