The SA20 team, Joburg Super Kings have signed a partnership extension with the multinational fast food chain brand, McDonald’s.
Following the extension, McDonald’s has been named the associate sponsor of the Johannesburg-based side for the forthcoming edition.
The franchise confirmed the renewal on its various social media platforms with the caption, “A tasty partnership ahead! 🤩 Welcoming our new associate sponsor McDonald’s for the upcoming season and we are all gonna love it! ❤️🥳”.

Before this pact, the unit signed a commercial tie with Lotto Sport.

As of 2021, McDonald’s was the largest fast-food restaurant chain in the world, serving more than 69 million people a day across more than 100 countries through more than 40,000 locations. Though they also serve salads, poultry, fish, and fruit, McDonald’s is most recognised for its hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and french fries.
The Super Kings will begin their SA20 2024 campaign against the defending champions, Sunrisers Eastern Cape at St.George’s Park in Gqeberha on Wednesday, January 10.
