John Fury in talks for fight after being called out by Tyson’s sparring partner

JOHN FURY is talking to Misfits Boxing over a shock fight – but no offer has yet been tabled.
Fury is most recognised as the dad to superstar sons Tyson and Tommy.
But he has become an outspoken figure in his own right and called out big names like Mike Tyson and Carl Froch.
More recently, Tyson’s ex-sparring partner Joe Egan has challenged Fury and claimed KSI’s Misfits promotion would front the cash for it.
Promoter Kalle Sauerland is in contact with Fury but admitted no official offer has yet been made.
Sauerland told Pro Boxing Fans: “We talk to John a lot. We talk about some of the boxers he’s working with, like Roman Fury.
“So we have a lot of conversation points… but at the same time I can’t say we’ve made an offer on that fight.
“It’s a fight that, yes we’d look at, it would have to be medically checked and everything else.
“But as of right now, no there’s not been an offer made.”
Both Froch and Egan have questioned whether Fury truly wants to fight or if it is a case of all bark no bite.

But Sauerland said: “Oh, no, no, John would definitely be up for a fight, I can assure you that.”
Fury – who had an 8-4-1 pro record – spoke out in an interview with Free Bets and admitted only Iron Mike could bring him back to the ring.
He said: To be completely honest with you, I don’t think they could afford me.
“The only person I’m looking at who can really bring the numbers in is Mike Tyson. If I don’t get him, I’m not really interested in these other men.
“I’m not cheap and for me to climb back into the ring, it’s in the millions, not the thousands.”
