With left-hander Kyle Freeland on the mound for the Colorado Rockies Sunday, the Toronto Blue Jays are running out almost all of their right-handed hitters for the series finale.
Justin Turner is returning to the four-hole after having Saturday off, Alejandro Kirk returns behind the plate and Ernie Clement gets his first start of the series.
Clement will play third base and hit sixth, pushing Isiah Kiner-Falefa over to second while hitting eighth.
The Blue Jays are undefeated this season when Davis Schneider is in the lineup, and the 25-year-old is back in left field and hitting fifth on Sunday.
After hitting home runs in the first two games of the series, Daulton Varsho is being replaced in the outfield by Kevin Kiermaier, who entered Saturday’s game as a pinch runner in the eighth inning.
Kiermaier is the lone lefty in the lineup and is batting ninth.
Freeland, a 30-year-old southpaw, has been hit hard by righties throughout his career, allowing an .812 OPS in off-handed matchups.
Jose Berrios has the ball for Toronto as it goes for its second straight series win.
